Rooted in Portsmouth. Growing Together.
Two centers. One commitment to youth and families.
Big Homies Inc. is expanding to two locations to increase our capacity to serve youth and families throughout Portsmouth. Little Homies Youth Enrichment & Recreation Center remains open at Elliott Avenue and will continue operating when Big Homies Recreation Center opens on Lincoln Street.
Currently Open
Our existing center remains open and operational. Current youth programs, enrollment information, and services continue here.
Big Homies Inc.’s food assistance remains available by phone request on Mondays beginning at 9:00 AM, primarily through home delivery. Pickups and deliveries must be scheduled by phone.
Coming January 2027
Our second location will expand our capacity for youth development, educational enrichment, recreation, mentorship, and community resources.
Construction completion is anticipated in November 2026, with the grand opening anticipated in January 2027. The facility is under construction and is not yet open. Specific programs, schedules, and an exact opening date have not been confirmed.
An expansion of our work, alongside our continuing Elliott Avenue center.
Both centers will offer many of the same core youth development and enrichment programs. Certain programs, activities, and services will differ by location.
Programs and activities may vary by location. Please contact Big Homies Inc. for current program availability and schedules.
